Dia is mhuire diobh go leir a cairde and welcome to News Report 1231 from Millstreet.
Fondest greetings dear listeners and I wish you all the very best on this soft and dewy Tuesday morning.

First this morning I’d like to extend a fond Slan Abhaile, a Bon Voyage or a plain Goodbye to all the people who have been with us in recent times. Equestrian people, Stall holders, Volunteers, caterers or the general public who just came to see.

Millstreet is resting today following a long line of events which came in quick succession since the middle of April. Prestigious Horse events with the weeklong International Juggling fitted in between that brought over 70 countries into Millstreet & Ireland.

There were many highlights along the way. Too many for me to mention. But the most outstanding of all had to be the Eventing at Drishane on the early days of July. That day Noel C clocked up another notch on his long list of earthmoving achievements.
Not even the Wallis’s, the ancient Landlords of Drishane, could have outdone the mammoth performance that he brought off that day. And the good news is that it remains intact. It is a vast extension of 300 acres, to his existing show grounds.
Ready at any given time, to do it all again.

Over the summer months I’m sure lots of you have some wonderful pictures taken, especially this year with all that was happening .If you have some special ones please send them in to any one of our Website crew, Hannelie O Connor, Sean Radley or Michael Cashman. And they will share them with us all, free of charge. And by the way I want to send a very Happy, if belated Birthday Greeting to Michael Cashman. The man who took to the air with his camera, in his hang-glider over Millstreet, to bring us aerial details of our busiest events.
