Iarnród Éireann‘s recent marketing campaign is about rediscovering the joy of the train … but one of our eagle-eyed readers sent us in a message about the poster saying: “If you look out the window you will see Clara Mountain“. What do you think?
This is the poster without the writing:
… and this is Clara Mountain from the Railway Bridge at Shanaknock [Google Street View 2009], what would be a similar angle to the poster.
There are some subtle differences in the artwork, like Clara appears to have been made taller, there are slight changes to the layout of the fields on the lower slopes, but the shape of the Clara compared to the poster is not in doubt.
I’m fairly convinced, but can you ever be 100% sure?
