On the occasion of Tim’s first anniversary, his family would like to acknowledge the many gestures of kindness and sympathy shown to us throughout Tim’s illness and funeral.

We are deeply indebted to Dr. Christine McCarthy, Dr. Liam Norton and the staff at Millstreet Medical Centre,  for the remarkable kindness and care shown to Tim.

Our gratitude also extends to Tom Mulcahy, pharmacist, and to the doctors, nurses, and paramedics, especially those in Mallow General Hospital and University Hospital Kerry, for their care and compassion.

Also a heartfelt thank you to Irene Duggan, Larry’s devoted home carer, for her kindness, compassion, and the wonderful care she gave to him.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Larry’s former teammates in Cullen GAA for the beautiful guard of honour they formed following his Memorial Mass. Your tribute meant so much to us and added a special touch to the farewell of our beloved Larry.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to his many good friends, kind neighbours, and his associates across the farming community, those who called to our home, brought food and refreshments and offered solace.To those who phoned or text, wrote to us and sent Mass Cards, and shared such nice online messages and memories of Mike, your words brought us great comfort. Many thanks to those who travelled long distances, attended Mike’s removal, funeral Mass and burial, your presence meant so much. We would especially like to thank the Public Health nurses and Home Support Service staff and his GPs Dr Norton and Dr Walsh, for their kindness and support of Mike during his long illness. We are truly grateful. We want to thank the doctors and nurses and care staff in the UHK Dialysis unit, UHK and CUH especially Dr M Mazur. Thanks also to John D and George O’Keeffe, staff of O’Keeffe’s Funeral Directors and gravediggers for all the help they gave the family during this difficult time. They did everything so professionally and with such kindness. Thank you to Fr. As we lovingly remember MIKIE, who died on May 26th 2024, his wife Margaret and family would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us, called to the house and brought food, sent mass cards, perpetual enrolments and posted condolences online, attended his Removal and Funeral Services. We would like to thank most sincerely the Casey Family and all the staff at Tullig Medical Centre, all the staff at Reen’s Pharmacy South Doc, The National Ambulance service and the staff at Mallow General Hospital, the Public Health Nurses, Home Helps and numerous dedicated carers over the years, which made it possible for him to stay at home for so long.

We would like to thank Canon John Fitzgerald and Fr David Herlihy for celebrating the funeral mass, we would like to thank Fr John for his many home visits over the years. Thanks to Sharon Lane and Julie Brady for assistance and Jerry Doody for the beautiful singing and music in the church. Thanks also for Mikie’s kind neighbours, friends and everyone who stood in the main street and also in Brookpark on his final journey to Kilcorney cemetery. To all the staff of the Wallis Arms Hotel who provided refreshments afterwards.  Thank you to Davy Tarrant undertakers Cora and all the team for  organising the funeral.

A heartfelt thank you to all those who cared with great compassion for Liam over the past few years, especially : Liam’s carers, who were a huge support, all the staff at Tullig Medical Centre, CUH, Millstreet Hospital, Millstreet Day Care Centre, Mallow Hospital, Nazareth House,  Reen’s Pharmacy and the Public Health Nursing team.
We would like to thank the Credit Union and Fire Brigade who generously provided a guard of honour as part of Liam’s removal.
We are deeply thankful to Millstreet Pipe Band. Their contributions at the removal, funeral Mass and burial was greatly appreciated and very special.
We would like to thank Canon John Fitzgerald,  Sharon Lane and Julie Brady for their help and support.
Thanks to Siobhán Forde and family for providing the beautiful music at the church.

On the occasion of Mary’s first anniversary, her husband Connie, daughters Maeve and Emma, Mother Josie, sister Anne and the extended family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support during her illness, funeral and throughout the year following our sad loss.

A special thanks to all who cared for Mary with such kindness and compassion; her GP Dr Michael Casey, the Doctors and staff at Cork University Hospital, the Homecare Team of Marymount University Hospital, the Public Health Nursing team, all at Reen’s Pharmacy and her friends and neighbours.

We thank most sincerely all who sent Mass cards, offered sympathy, provided food, who posted on RIP.ie, sent flowers, attended her removal and funeral.  For the beautiful and thoughtful ceremony our sincere thanks to Fr John Fitzgerald and Fr Teddy Linehan for officiating at the funeral Mass. Many thanks to Joan O’ Donoghue for organising the Church and all the singers and musicians for their music, singing and choice of hymns.

On the occasion of Tom’s first anniversary, his daughters Noreen and Siobhán, sons Con, John, Tomás and Donal, daughters in law Helen, Joanne, son in law Niall and his adored seven grandchildren would like to acknowledge the many gestures of kindness and sympathy shown to us
throughout Tom’s illness and funeral.
We are deeply indebted to our dedicated Community Health nurses, Dad’s committed carers, Marymount Hospice Support Team and The Irish Cancer Society Night Nurses for the remarkable kindness and care shown to him. We would like to extend our thanks to the entire staff at Dr. Leaders’s Surgery, Boherbue and all in Reens’s Pharmacy Millstreet. We wish to thank everyone who attended the funeral ceremonies and those who travelled long distances to be with us. Our sincere appreciation to Uachtarán na hÉireann Michael D Higgins for the attendance at the funeral mass of his Aide de Camp, Colonel Stephen Howard and to the Tánaiste Micheál Martin
acknowledging the contribution of our late father to the Irish state and his commitment and dedication to his constituents. Thank you to those who telephoned, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, novenas and letters, celebrated masses, placed messages of condolence on RIP.ie and those
who participated in the live streaming of Tom’s funeral mass. We remember with gratitude those who would have liked to attend but could not and remembered us in their thoughts and prayers.
A sincere word of thanks to Canon John Fitzgerald P.P. Millstreet, who celebrated Tom’s funeral mass and recited prayers at the graveside assisted by Fr. Bartie Doherty, Kiltegan Fathers, Fr Paddy Byrne, Millstreet and Fr Liam Kelleher, Cobh. Our gratitude to Seán Ó Sé, traditional singer, Margaret Healy, soloist accompanied by Leah Murphy on the organ for their beautiful singing and music. Thanks to Margaret Murphy, sacristan and to Garden of Eve flower shop.
We thank Davy, Cora, Martina and Declan of Tarrant’s Undertakers for their support, advice, empathy and professionalism, Peter O’ Callaghan for the excellent streaming of Tom’s mass. Our sincere thanks to the Gardaí of Millstreet Garda Station and to the stewards for the professional manner in which the organisation of traffic and parking was managed ensuring the safe flow of traffic during the funeral.
We will always cherish and remember with gratitude everyone who stood in respectful silence in the various Guards of Honour and the people who stood in respect along the roadside on the journey to St. Mary’s Cemetery. To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more

On Geff’s First Anniversary, we his family would like to thank our relatives, neighbours and friends who sympathised with us at the time of his passing, those who sent mass cards and flowers and those who travelled to be with us.  We would also like to thank those who spent time with Dad during his final months, your visits were very much appreciated.

Thanks to Tarrant’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism and kindness. Thank you to the Cullen Ballad Group for the beautiful church music and Seamus Fleming who played the pipes to the graveside. Thanks to Cullen GAA Club who helped with traffic management during Geff’s Funeral and The Cullen Community Centre volunteers who prepared the hall for the reception.

We would like to thank Dads home help, Mary O’Neill & Marie Murphy as well as his doctors at Millstreet Medical Centre and the CUH and the staff at Reen’s Pharmacy.  To the staff at Araglen Nursing Home  Boherbue, thank you for taking such wonderful care of Dad in his final months.
