Cork Music Station Resumes Live Broadcasting on Friday

As a mark of sincere respect to the memory of the late Vera Langan – loving wife of our esteemed Presenter Colleague, George F. Langan – our live programmes on Cork Music Station are cancelled until we resume broadcasting in Friday, 3rd Oct. 2025.  May the gentle Soul of Vera rest in peace.  (S.R.)

National Dairy Show Returns to Millstreet with New Attractions

The National Dairy Show returns to the Green Glens Arena, Millstreet, on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th October 2025, promising two days packed with competitions, innovation, and family-friendly attractions.

Opening hours for the show are Friday from 2.00pm to 9.30pm and Saturday from 9.30am to 5.30pm.

This year’s show will feature over 150 trade stands, showcasing the latest in agri-technology, animal health, farm machinery, and dairy industry services. Visitors will also enjoy the Rispoval Calf Village, an interactive area dedicated to calf health and management, offering insights and demonstrations for farmers and families alike.

A highlight for 2025 will be the new Crew Cab Display, bringing visitors up close to the latest in comfort and design for modern farm and family vehicles.

The National Dairy Show continues to be Ireland’s premier indoor agricultural event, combining top-class livestock competitions with cutting-edge innovations for the farming community.

Eily’s Report – 30th September

Dia is mhuire díobh go léir a cáirde and welcome to my Report.

Fondest greetings on the last day of September. It was a busy month with our people forging ahead in their effort to get Millstreet moving again, together. The Tidy Towns winning of the Anti Litter campaign was a great shot in the arm to begin with. Mary Buckley’s success at the National Final of the Baking Contest, making her mouth watering scones, the best in the land. Our ARA club honoured Mary on Friday last when they had a wonderful decorated cake to surprise her at their regular Bingo event.   In reply Mary wants to thank all those who helped her to raise €3,605,00 in aid of Breast Cancer.
