Three Much Loved Pet Cats Missing – Any Update?

The following message was received in September 2025 from Catherine.   She is enquiring if there is any update.   The original request was as follows:  Catherine Jenks shared the following message with us:  “Still missing from Killarney Road,  Millstreet since the 4th  October 2023 – three of our cats.  If anyone sees them please contact me on Facebook as they are much loved pets – named Lily, Suzie and Fluffy.   If anyone has information I’d be grateful just to know where they are and that they are OK.   Sincere thanks.”   We shall pass on any updates received to Catherine…Our contact is millstreetmuseum @gmail.com.  (S.R.)

The death has occurred of Catherine (Vera) Langan (née Kiely), Artane, Dublin / Carrigkerry, Co. Limerick.

Catherine (Vera) Langan, (née Kiely), Artane, Dublin and Rooskagh East, Carrickerry, Co. Limerick, September, 29th, 2025, peacefully in the company of her loving husband George and the wonderful care of the medical staff at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.

Predeceased by her first husband Garda Michael Reynolds and their daughter Emer, parents John and Bridie Kiely, brothers Michael and John.

Sadly missed by her beloved husband George, brother-in-law Eddie, sister-in-laws Teresa and Mairéad Langan, Athea, Kathleen Garry, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Marie Warde, Kilconnell, Co. Galway, cousins Pat Dalton, Kay Dalton, Colum Dalton, Mary Dalton O’Brien, Michael Dalton and Margaret Morrison, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May Vera rest in peace

Reposing at St. Molua’s Church, Ardagh, Co. Limerick on Wednesday evening Oct. 1st., from 5pm to 7pm.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Vera at 11.30 a.m. on Thursday morning,  streamlined on https://youtube.com/live/14omkTkZPmY?feature=share

Interred afterwards in Calvary Cemetery, Newcastlewest, Co. Limerick.
