The death has occurred of Mark Walsh, Cordal, Co. Kerry / Castleisland, Co. Kerry.

Mark Walsh, Cordal and Walsh’s Farm Machinery, passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on September 21st 2025. Loving husband of Maura (née Stack) and devoted father of Marcus and Bríghid-Íde.

Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers John, Mike and Dan (DD), sister Nora Dennehy, and Bríghid-Íde’s fiancé Alan O’Shaughnessy (Askeaton). His aunts Norrie Broderick and Julia Moriarty (Broderick).

Predeceased by his parents Dan and Breda (Broderick, Brosna), his infant brother Brian, his nephew Daniel Walsh , brothers-in-law Dano Dennehy (Ballydesmond), Thomas Stack (Ardfert) and sister-in-law Mary Walsh (Gilbert).

Lovingly remembered by his sisters-in-law Marie (Drumm) and Aveen Flood. Maura’s brother and sisters Paddy Stack, Joan and Tim Harmon, Helen and Paddy Stapleton, Breeda and John Curran, Lillie and Tom O’Sullivan, Ann and Paul Flynn, Catherine and Tom Godley, Maggie and Francis Maunsell and Noreen and Xavier Lovett. His nephews and nieces, cousins, all the staff both past and present of Walsh’s Farm Machinery, his wonderful neighbours and large circle of friends.

Rosary at his home on Monday 22nd at 8pm. Reposing at Tangney’s Funeral Home, Castleisland (V92 PH68) on Tuesday 23rd from 4.30pm to 9pm. Requiem Mass for Mark will be celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Cordal on Wednesday 24th at 11.30am, with burial afterwards in Kilmurry graveyard. Mass will be livestreamed on mycondolences.ie

Reens Life Pharmacy – Jack and Jill Foundation Fundraiser

Today we lodged a total of 4365 euro to the  Jack and Jill foundation bank account following our fundraising coffee morning instore in August.
 A very sincere thank you to everyone who supported us  and donated to this very worthy cause.
 It is a great honour to be able to support causes like this especially when we see first hand here in the Pharmacy the amazing work the Jack and Jill foundation do for children and their families.

Millstreet Vintage Club upcoming event Sunday 12th October 2025

Millstreet Vintage Club Model Show is taking place on Sunday, 12th October 2025

from 10:30am to 5:30pm in K&L Millstreet P51 X683 with proceeds going to Hollymount School.

 

The Jordan EJ11 F1 CAR will be coming to Millstreet and on display for the day of the event

Entry fee: Adults €10  Children FREE

There will be a Lego play area for kids and an impressive display of Model Cars, Tractors, Trucks, Farm Displays, Remote Control, Military, Aeroplanes, Dolls Houses & contents, Plant Hire equipment on show plus Vintage Car Parts & much more!
