The death has occurred of Martin O’Connell of Mount Leader, Millstreet and formerly of West End, Millstreet, on Wednesday, December 10th 2025, suddenly but peacefully.
Pre-deceased by his parents, Dan and Sheila.
Deeply regretted by his cousins, godchild Úna, great neighbours, his work colleagues in Munster Joinery, relatives and friends.
May Martin rest in peace.
Lying in repose at Tarrant’s Funeral Home, West End, Millstreet, P51 XF86 on Sunday evening, December 14th from 5.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. with removal at 7.00 p.m. to St Patrick’s Church, Millstreet.
Requiem Mass on Monday, December 15th at 11.00 a.m. with burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet.

Met Martin recently he had not changed in 40 years. Very sorry to see him go so young. I would consider him a part of my history remember him in the shop with his mother overcome with kids at lunch time. Always polite and kind.
