Acknowledgement & First Anniversary
Charles Cooper, Claraghatlea, Millstreet, Co Cork who died 13th October 2024 – Acknowledgement and First Anniversary.
On Charlie’s first anniversary, his family would like to express sincere gratitude and to thank everyone who sympathised with us, attended the funeral, sent Mass cards, posted online condolences and those who stood to pay their respect as Charlie’s remains travelled to the church and to St. Mary’s Cemetery.
We wish to express our gratitude to Davy, Declan, Cora and all at Tarrant’s Undertakers for their advice, kindness, professionalism and support.
A special thank you to Canon John Fitzgerald for celebrating Charlie’s funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, to Sharon Lane and Julie Brady for their help and assistance.
Thank you to Millstreet Church Choir for the beautiful singing and music at the mass. Thank you to all who helped and participated in the Funeral Mass and Burial.
We are most grateful to Dr Michael Casey and all the staff at Tullig Medical Centre. Thanks also to all the staff at Reen’s Pharmacy, Mulcahy’s Pharmacy & to Dr. Christine Walsh McCarthy.
To the staff at Mercy Hospital, Cork, thank you for taking such wonderful care of Charlie.
We would like to thank Ursula, Nicholas and the staff at Pomeroy’s Clara Inn for your wonderful hospitality in hosting us after the burial and for the assistance in organising the catering.
We wish to thank and acknowledge the kindness of the wonderful neighbours and friends of Charlie & the Cooper family who visited from near and far both during the funeral and the weeks and months that followed.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest appreciation. The First Anniversary Mass will be held in St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet on Saturday 11th October 2025 at 6.15pm.
