INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN CELEBRATION OF OUR CHOIRS
As we journey through this Jubilee Year, the Vatican has set aside the 22nd & 23 November as a weekend to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution of music in our liturgies.
In advance of this special weekend our Diocese will have a Mass of Thanksgiving in St. Mary’s Cathedral on Tuesday 18th November at 7.00p.m. This Mass will celebrate the rich tapestry of musical talent in our Parishes which enhance the ceremonies celebrated in our Churches.
If your choir would like to be part of this special celebration, please contact Millstreet Parish Office and we will forward your details to the Diocese who will arrange for a special one-night workshop in our Pastoral area in preparation of this special night.“Singing and music can touch hearts, give beauty, and restore zest and hope” (Pope Francis)
