The Late Dan Dennehy

It was with deep sadness that we learnt of the passing of Dan Dennehy, a true stalwart of Cullen GAA Club. A former player, Chairman, and long-serving Duhallow GAA delegate, Dan’s unwavering dedication to our club and community spanned decades. His leadership and vision were instrumental in the development of many of our key facilities, leaving a lasting legacy that will benefit generations to come.
Dan remained actively involved in club affairs right up to his passing, a testament to his deep love for Cullen GAA and the GAA community at large. His loss is deeply felt by all who had the privilege of working alongside him, and by everyone who values the spirit of community, commitment, and volunteerism that he so passionately embodied.
We extend our heartfelt sympathies to Dan’s family, friends, and all who mourn his passing. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
With thanks,
Karen Hickey (Chairperson), Marie Morley (Secretary), Denis Hickey (Treasurer) & Brid Walsh (PRO)
