And we share further pictures of the significant annual event where the many local organisations reflected on the truly magnificent financial assistance which over the years has been provided for many important projects such as the hugely impressive development at Millstreet Town Park to mention but one of many. And let us remember that all these benefits are made possible by the very inspiring dedication of wonderful local Volunteers. Click on the many images to enlarge. Recently at the Wallis Arms Hotel on two separate nights Millstreet / Duarigle Gaels Juvenile GAA celebrated with a superb Victory Social – on the Friday night with the younger members and on the Saturday night with the more senior players. Here we share images from the first occasion where Sportsman Supreme, Kevin Crowley was the Guest of Honour who presented the wonderfully successful players with their medals. The Disco which followed the meal, presentation and speeches – with very popular D.J. Kieran – was hugely enjoyed by the young players. Great credit is due to the many dedicated Coaches and Coordinators. Click on the images to enlarge. (S.R.)And we share a further selection of pictures from the splendid annual occasion. Meet Minister for Agriculture, Simon Coveney TD in Millstreet
This year has seen some major developments for farmers, farm families and farming communities. The ending of Milk Quotas and the opening of the USA market for beef has the potential to offer real gains for rural Ireland.
I’d like to invite you, your family, friends and neighbours to meet our Minister for Agriculture, Simon Coveney in The Wallis Arms Hotel. Come along, have your say and hear his thoughts on the future of the family farm and the agriculture sector. I hope you can take the time and join us on the night.
