This song My Own Dear Millstreet Home is quite beautiful. Recorded by Eileen Sheehan of Abbeydorney in the 1960’s, they don’t make them like this any more. But, does anyone know who wrote this song?
Seán Murphy wishes to express sincere thanks to the very many people who attended Friday night’s truly wonderful occasion of splendid songs and music by the ever popular TR Dallas at The Pub in Carriganima. Here we share the first two of some 14 images (12 more in a later post) capturing the very cheerful and uplifting atmosphere in the very welcoming venue. Accompanying TR on keyboard and providing further songs was Joe King from Co. Wexford (first from left). Click on the images to enlarge. (S.R.)
