  • Organisational and coordination abilities are a key requirement

 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

  • Qualification in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Being the primary point of contact for the logistics team.
  • The Logistics team Lead will be responsible for planning and coordinating time sensitive deliveries and collections of products using the company software system.
  • Main point of contact for rental equipment customers to deal with queries.
  • Liaise and communicate with internal/external representatives and drivers on a daily basis to ensure all goods are distributed effectively, whilst ensuring we maintain our excellent standards of service to our customers at all times.
  • Manage critical deliveries efficiently nationwide.
  • Manage rental stock items and ensure rental stock levels at remote locations are maintained at the required stock levels.
  • Responsible for the co-ordination / monitoring of time sensitive requests and also deliveries
  • Daily communication effectively within the team / Drivers /Company Representatives on a regular basis to ensure all deliveries/ collection are completed effectively
  • Working in a logistics team to plan for the current and future requirements of the company.
  • Helping with annual leave or busy peaks on the logistics team from time to time.
  • Dealing with any requests from the Company Sales Representatives effectively.
  • Dealing with ad-hoc requests for deliveries and collections from all areas of the business which can range from a van to an artic vehicle.
  • Co-ordinating monthly rental asset audits to ensure all are thoroughly completed within the required timeframe.
  • Manage logistics team personnel including all HR related items, training annual leave etc.
  • Ensure rental stock rotations are maintained on time.
