Fionn Barry has spent most of his short life suffering and in hospital yet despite this he is still fighting for answers. He was diagnosed at 6 months with infantile spasms which has evolved into a seriously debilitating and Life limiting illness and needs 24 hour care.
16-year-old Ian O’Connell fell from his bike in Killarney National Park, sustaining damage to his neck and spine. The popular young sportsman is undergoing occupational therapy and physiotherapy at the rehabilitation centre in Dún Laoghaire. This years Annual Fancy Dress officially launched last Thursday by John F Kelleher Chairman with Noreen Mc Sweeney Acting Director of Nursing at Millstreet Hospital in the presence of the Nursing & caring staff.

Aubane Social Club in association with Wallis Arms Hotel officially launching this Fancy Dress in Aid of Temple Street Childrens University Hospital last night (oct 9th) in Aubane. Aubane Social Club Chairman John Kelleher, Shelia Lehane representing Temple Street Hospital and Billy Sheehan proprietor of the Wallis Arms Hotel Millstreet. The Date is Saturday 25 October for this years Fancy Dress, so it’s time to dust off those costumes for the best night of the year!
Aubane’s Annual Charity Fancy Dress Committee are now excepting applications from local charities in the Millstreet Area who wish benefit from this year’s event.

A “Spooktacular” Halloween Fancy Dress will be held on Friday 30th October at The Wallis Arms Hotel in Millstreet, with all proceeds raised going to the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland (CFAI).
Organised by Aubane Social Club and The Wallis Arms, this annual charity event promises to be a fun filled night with music by The Celts at 9pm followed by Mad Dave DJ, a delicious barbecue with O’Leary Family Butchers, a super raffle and of course prizes for the “Best Costumes”.
Guests will be able to bid of fantastic items such as signed Munster and Ireland Rugby Jerseys, a Laptop worth €2,000, two weeks in an apartment in Portugal, Spa Treatments at The Brehon and much more in the Charity Auction, with proceeds going directly towards Cystic Fibrosis (CF) facilities in Cork University Hospital.
