Maggie Molloy brought this week’s house hunting couple on Cheap Irish Homes (RTÉ1) to Ballydaly to see a cottage that’s been unused for a few years. Of the houses they were shown, they said it was by far their favourite, for the space provided, and also probably for the price also. You can still see this week’s episode on the RTÉ Player.

The house is about 500m from Ballydaly Cross. However, since the programme was made, the house has apparently been bough by others, so the couple will have to search elsewhere to find a place to live.
