Notice from Bus Eireann: “The Route 40 Bus Service will no longer serve Millstreet/Rathmore. Customers who wish to travel to/from Millstreet will be able to travel to Killarney/Macroom on the Route 257, which operates Monday to Friday only – onward connections to Cork are available from Macroom on Route 40 or Route 233.”
So this all means that there are now no weekend services through Millstreet as the following buses below have been removed:
To Tralee: 7:40pm (Monday to Saturday), 2:40pm & 7:40pm (Sunday), and
To Cork: 7:05pm (Sunday)

The People of Millstreet are suffering at the hands of a out of touch Government when are they going to make a stand. Everytime I go home now another part of the town is gone.
