Dia is mhuire diobh go leir a cairde and welcome to news report 1214 from Millstreet. Fondest greetings dear listeners and I wish you all the very best on this nice, calm Tuesday morning. Our weekend was action packed as usual. Our Easter services were very well attended ,in all three churches. Canon John was glad of help from Fr. Paddy O Byrne, and parishioners were delighted to see him taking up some parish duties again.

Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday each brought it’s own special meaning to the Easter weekend. And we have to say manythanks to Our Clergy, Our Parish Choir and all those who worked behind thescenes to make our Easter period so special.

Down at the Green Glens it was horses all the way from Friday to Sunday
evening. Completing two extra weekends of equestrian events on our annual calendar. Shops and services always gain from such happenings which is a welcome boost.

Ed has been with TodayFM since 1998 (when he was legally adopted by them!). Aside from his own show, he produces the Paul McLoone Show (Mon-Thurs), does the movie reviews for the Matt Cooper Show, and you’ll hear him as a second presenter some evenings also.

Listen to Ed’s Songs of Praise every Sunday night from 10pm to 1am, or if you miss it, you can listen back on the TodayFM Player.
