This Sunday (April 20th) sees the return of Irish Mountain Running Association run up (and down) Clara.
The race begins at 7pm at the Presbytery on the Clara Rd. Meeting beforehand for entry and registration at 6:30 in the GAA Hall.
The race begins on Claragh Rd (just opposite the carpark) heading south. After about 800m, take a sharp left (around the grotto) onto a narrow road, and after another 600m, take a right turn onto a path going through the forest. And thus Ed’s Indie Disco on Saturday night radio was no more 🙁
Kilcorney man Ed Smith has moved his late night music show on TodayFM to Sunday night and it’s been renamed Ed’s Songs of Praise 🙂
The show is “three hours of the finest in indie, rock, hip hop and soul” … but actually, it’s super, an interesting, and refreshing listen.
Ed has been with TodayFM since 1998 (when he was legally adopted by them!). Aside from his own show, he produces the Paul McLoone Show (Mon-Thurs), does the movie reviews for the Matt Cooper Show, and you’ll hear him as a second presenter some evenings also.
Listen to Ed’s Songs of Praise every Sunday night from 10pm to 1am, or if you miss it, you can listen back on the TodayFM Player.
