Wild Summer Camps for kids is a nature based Summer Camp with elements of Heritage, Crafts and fun outdoors adventure, held in Millstreet Country Park. The first Camp of the Summer starts next week:
Cost is €75 for the first child booked in a family and €60 for other children booked in the same family. This includes lunch. Activities included: Duck Races, Bug Hunt, Arts & Crafts and much more.

Mass will be celebrated at St John’s Well Mushera on Friday 24th June 2014 at 7.30pm which is the feast of St John’s the Baptist, hopefully the Weather will be fine on the Evening.
St Johns Night Dancing at Mushera Platform this Friday Night June 24th at 8.30pm, All Welcome.
The mass beforehand will be held in Rathcoole School, and refreshments afterwards in the School also.
Dia is Muire diobh go léir a Cairde and welcome to my Report`from Millstreet..From July 12 to 17 inclusive the World Team Mounted Games Championships will be held at the Green Glens.It’s a first and it is exciting. 18 Countries will be taking part.and they are Ireland, Northern Ireland, France. Belgium, South Africa, Norway, Germany, Scotland, England, Wales, Italy, New Zealand, Australia, & Canada. The Final is held in a different country every year and last year it was held in Kentucky. A hundred and fifty ponies in all are coming, comprising of 30 teams at 5 ponies a team .
The chairman of the Championships Mr. Conor O Leary attended the monthly meeting of the Community Council on Tuesday night last and he gave a detailed account of the event of how our community can play a big part in welcoming such a prestigious event to our town.
The next meeting will be held on this Thursday night at 9pm and all are welcome to attend.

Have you any leftover household paints gathering dust in the shed? We are painting a mural in Drishane Castle, and so we are looking for donation of paints.
Any quantity, any colour, the only restriction is that they have to be water based or acrylic, not oil based.
We will also take any old paint brushes!

On Saturday morning (18th June 2016) quite a number of families arrived at Millstreet Railway Station to catch a fleeting glance of “The Emerald Isle Explorer” Steam Train as it passed by on its way to Killarney. Passengers comprised mainly of real rail enthusiasts on a Steam Train holiday. Thankfully the weather was ideal to view the historic visit. Click on the images to enlarge. (S.R.)

Only one week to go before Summer Holidays at our Primary Schools. Presentation N.S have had lots of news photos and more on their website in the last week, from the First Holy Communion, to School Tours, Euro 2016, artwork and more. The very last juvenile table quiz of the school year on Tues June 21st in Cullen Cummunity Centre to raise funds for Féile. Teams welcome from all Schools. Team of 4, €20. Trophies for 2 categories 3rd /4th and 5th /6th, for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Shop on the night, free raffle for cinema tickets on the night.
We also have a clothes collection drop off on the night, want to make room for the summer collection!!! We can take clothes, pairs of shoes, runners, belts, handbags, toys, and mobile phones.
