We, the family of Donie, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the great kindness and support shown to us following our sudden and sad loss. Due to the health restrictions, we were unable to meet with family, friends and neighbours but we were greatly touched by the volume of letters, Mass cards, online condolences and phone calls we received. We extend our deep appreciation to the many neighbours, relatives and friends who lined the route of the funeral cortege on the day of the burial, which was a great comfort to us. The kindness and support shown by our dear friends and relatives meant so much to us. We sincerely thank the wonderful paramedics who attended to Donie and extend our deep appreciation for their immense effort .Our thanks also to Dr Michael Casey and the late Dr Pat. Our appreciation to Canon Jack Fitzgerald for his consoling prayers at the Funeral.
Mass and burial and for his support throughout our time of grief. Thanks also to Sharon and Julie for their support and assistance. A special thank you to Davy Tarrant and Cora for their help, kindness, sensitivity, and professionalism with the funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a

Yesterday an objection was lodged with Cork County Council to the continued use of an 80 Mtr. Meteorological Mast on Mushera Mountain. This of course is paving the way for a wind farm on Mushera. There were over 200 Signatures attached to the Objection……yes, that is correct…..OVER 200 SIGNATURES. What is even more gratifying is that the Communities from Ballinagree, Aubane, Kilcorney, Millstreet and the Surrounding Area plus further afield came together to achieve this.
Many Thanks to Everyone for the great showing of Support.
Those that worked so hard under difficult circumstances are to be congratulated on their achievement. Keep up the good work.

Dia is Mhuire díobh go léir a chairde, and welcome to my weekly report.
This is Holy Week, the clocks are gone one hour ahead and I got my second Jab last Thursday. Lots of new developments to take in, in one week. But changes keep us on the alert and that’s a good thing at any time, moreover in these historic times. I know a few people who didn’t even realise that the clocks had changed and anyway what difference did it make. An hour up or down doesn’t really matter when you have no important engagements to meet. Mass would be the most important one but if you miss it in our own church, the flick of a button will have you attending your weekly obligations in places as far apart as Boherbue or the Vatican. Those who are fortunate to be working or have children going to school would want to be in the know about the change of time, obviously.
Do not miss out on this fantastic FREE workshop.
Our training focuses on using the Body, Breath and Voice to maximise performance when communicating. This one hour Masterclass will focus on what can be done to increase the impact made when communicating online via video conferencing platforms- applying both Verbal & Non-Verbal communication techniques to help to become better online communicators.

They were regarded as helpful and kind landlords, but their stately home was still burned in June of 1921. A visit to Ryecourt to meet Rosaleen Tonson-Rye is planned.
In the aftermath of a successful Cheltenham festival for the Irish, we pay a visit to the homeplace of legendary horse trainer Vincent o’Brien.
And……..We recall a conversation with Hubie Hurley from Farnanes who passed away on February 9th last. After his father died at a young age, Hubie’s mother pulled out all the stops to ensure all her family had careers. As a result, Hubie and his brother’ Pat’s talent is still on view in many churches today. [read more …] ““Where the Road Takes Me” at 7pm this Sunday on C103″
