Millstreet Country Park Re-Opens This Sunday April 6th

Millstreet Country Park will kick off a new season this year with the hosting of the All Ireland Schools Orienteering Championships, which will be held in the Park on Wednesday 9th April.

The All Ireland Schools Championships are organized by Bishopstown Orienteering Club and is expected to draw large numbers of students to the Park.

In addition The Park will host the Millstreet Walking Festival on Sunday 13th April and the Monster Mac will talk place on Saturday 26th April

Adult Membership this year is €20.00  and under 16s are free.

 

New Season Begins on Sunday 6th April and opening times are Wednesday to Sunday from 11.00 am to 7.00pm.

Restaurant open Sundays, café midweek.

The atmosphere was superb.   Blessed with excellent weather the scenes recorded for tonight's "At Your Service" television documentary should look magnificent. Registration will be between 10.00am and 1.00pm with the gates open at 8.30am.

Millstreet Country Park was featured on the RTÉ TV programme  ‘Nationwide’ yesterday evening. There were interviews were with former owner Jerry Sheehan, Manger Donie Howard, Chef Eleanor Leahy, and new owner Derry Sheehan.
