This week’s programme on LTV2 Millstreet – Programme 197 - is edited by William Fitzgerald and will be transmitted at 10.00 tonight on Channel 48 UHF and on Channel 12 VHF. The Programme will soon be available online….here on our website. Included in Prog. 197: Eily’s News, the Annual Swim at the Boeing last Sunday, a visit to Cullen at the start of 2012, Annmarie’s Concert in Athea, songs from John Glenn, Crystal Swing and Big Tom…and lots, lots more. On the Sunday night’s repeat presentations Dan Joe Kelleher is now introducing a series on “The Sunday Special” of complete Michael Fitzgerald videos following the end of the LTV2 repeat at 9.30. Brendan Murphy with video camera at Rathmore Food Fair on Sunday. Included in our LTV2 transmission this Thursday is an interview with Rose of Tralee, Tara Talbot and also with Michael Healy-Rea, T.D. and Mairéad Kelly who is holding the All-Ireland Cup won by Cork Ladies Football Team at Croke Park in September 2011 . Also included in our picture here is the main coordinator of the Food Fair - Michael O'Mahony. (S.R.)

Programme 196 will be broadcast this Thursday night at 10.00 p.m. and will be repeated on Thursday, 5th January 2012 (not repeated on this Sunday which is Christmas Day). LTV2 Millstreet will have five special half-hour programmes on Christmas Day – 7 to 8 pm; 10 – 11 pm and 11.30 to midnight.
Prog. 193 will be on website this evening while Prog. 194 may be viewed on Thursday and Prog. 195 on Saturday – Many thanks to Michael for arranging the upload of these programmes and to Bernard for his coordination of our LTV2 programmes on the Internet. Some of the Co. Cork group who travelled to the beautiful Salthill Hotel, Galway for the Monday night (7th Nov. 2011) Michael Commins Concert which featured true Showband legends such as Big Tom McBride, John Glenn, Foster & Allen, Donncha Ó Dúlaing and many more including our good friends "Crystal Swing". William Fitzgerald and I recorded for LTV2 Millstreet and we arrived back in Millstreet close to dawn! We shall have a full feature on the mightly event later. (S.R.)

Pictured here in The Pub, Carriganima at a recent LTV Meeting are members of the team - from left: Seán, Mary, Brendan, Eily, William, Dan Joe and Michael. With Seán Murphy on camera we meet with the renowned Paddy O'Brien and his very lovely wife, Ann as LTV2 Millstreet recorded at this year's hugely impressive National Ploughing Championships in Athy. This was the very welcoming scene in the Farmers Journal Country Music Pavilion on Wednesday, 21st Sept. 2011. A full feature on our visit to this amazing event will appear shortly. (S.R.)
Amongst the many people we interviewed at the Annual Vintage Festival in Coachford on Sunday, 21st August for LTV2 Millstreet - the 2011 Queen of the Festival and some of the dedicated Co-ordinators. Brendan Murphy (seen in background on left) was on video camera capturing some very colourful scenes for later transmission in the Autumn.
