Presentation N.S., Millstreet will present “The Greatest Treasure of All” – A Nativity Play – in St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet on Monday, 13th December at 7.30 p.m. . All are very welcome to this much anticipated production.
Due to present weather conditions it has been decided to defer Margaret McCarron’s presentation at Millstreet Gramophone Circle’s meeting which had been scheduled to take place in the Canon O’Donovan Centre this Friday, 10th December 2010 at 8.15 p.m.. This much anticipated presentation will take place in 2011.
A very successful Christmas Market was here at Millstreet G.A.A. Community Hall from 3rd – 5th December. Here we share images of the magnificent variety of exquisite works of art which were on display and of the wide range of Christmas present choices there was available at the very attractive event. A most impressive Balloon Release took place today, Tuesday 16th November at 12noon in Millstreet Community School bus park. It involved the release of about 300 black or white balloons filled with helium. The idea of this event came from a group of Transition Years who wanted to find a different and memorable way to remember loved ones who had passed away. Each Student and member of Staff was asked to write names of loved ones on a small piece of paper and these were inserted into the balloons. All the balloons were collected in a net and a short prayer service with all the school participating with Fr. Within St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet a number of very impressive features of Remembrance for the Holy Souls have been put in place. Many have visited the Remembrance Garden feature where all those who have died over the past year are especially remembered. Fr.
