***Event update***

We are disappointed to announce the cancellation of our Willie Neenan Memorial 5 mile road race which was to be held on 26th June next. Due to the current restrictions in place for Covid-19 it was an obvious but difficult decision to make. Please stay safe in these difficult times and lets look forward to next years race.

Willie Neenan Memorial Road Race 2014

Our 10km Willie Neenan Memorial RoadRace was a great success on Friday night. We thank everyone for supporting our race and to all our helpers. Thanks to our sponsors too and the Gardaí without whom it would have been a very difficult event to organise. Delighted to say Millstreet Athletic Club won the first prize in the womans team category made up of Frances Ring, Sheila Tarrant, Maeve O’Sullivan and Maura O’Keeffe. It was great to see so many locals competing and I’m sure everyone was delighted with their results. Keep up the training. Thanks so much and a special thank you to Geraldine Dennehy for the photographs. – Maeve O’Sullivan

Millstreet Athletic Club would like to thank everyone who helped make the Willie Neenan Memorial 10km road race such a great success.
The atmosphere was brilliant and everyone had great praise for the race.
It would not have been possible without all the road stewards, those who made tea and helped out in the kitchen, Gardai and our generous sponsors.  We truly appreciate everything that was done for us.

If anybody forgot to return the yellow bibs, could you please arrange to do so.
