As part of the RPSI South Munster Railtour the #85 Steam Locomotice ‘Merlin’ (pictured right) will be in Millstreet Railway Station today from 14:11 to 14:21 on its way to Killarney, and will pass through on its way back to Mallow at about 17:15.

Meanwhile, the third member of the team has only now dragged himself out of bed and has lots of work to do before driving up in the afternoon. Oh dear! 🙄
This old used postcard of Millstreet
Train Station Railway Station surfaced on eBay this week. We’d love to know if anyone knows when this photo was taken at what kind of engine is shown. The island platform lasted at least until the late 80s (removed at the time of the Eurovision?), but the control building Signal Cabin in the background lasted a bit longer, though without the chimney I think.
