Ria Buckley and Hannah Keane are 5th year students at Millstreet Community School. They will be going on pilgrimage to Lourdes for a week during their Easter holidays 2020 with the Irish Pilgrimage Trust. They are following in a long line of other students who have gone to Lourdes as helpers and had a wonderfully fulfilling time.
The cost of their flight/accommodation is €670/person and the students are currently fundraising in an effort to cover these costs. A successful bake sale took place in the parish centre before Christmas.
A table quiz held in Millstreet GAA Hall on Friday 31st January – €40/table of four. Everyone is welcome to take part on what should be a very enjoyable evening.
Corkery’s Bar Annual Stephen’s Day Quiz will be in aid of Temple Street Children’s Hospital and Millstreet Playground Quiz starting at 4pm followed by music later with DJ Nev All support greatly appreciated
There is a Charity Table Quiz happening in McCarthys Bar Millstreet on this Friday Night May 24th at 8.30 pm for Pieta House,why not come along for a Good Night Out for a Great Cause,Everybody Welcome.

Corkery’s Bar Annual St. Stephen’s Day Quiz was this year held in aid of Millstreet Community Hospital and Millstreet Day Care Centre. A capacity attendance on Wednesday, 26th Dec. 2018 guaranteed a truly successful event. Millstreet Primary Schools Parents Association held their annual school quiz fundraiser on the Friday of the Easter holidays in Millstreet GAA Hall. The hall was packed with lots of tables from both the Millstreet schools as well as lots of tables from schools from the surrounding areas. Further details and photos on the Presentation N.S. website
Thanks to everyone who supported the Table Quiz held in The Wallis Arms on Friday 23rd February. It was in aid of the four 5th year students who will be going to Lourdes as helpers at Easter with the Irish Pilgrimage Trust. It was a most enjoyable night.
FUNDRAISING TABLE QUIZ AID OF CANCER CONNECT
A table quiz will be held in Moll Carthy’s Bridge Bar in Kilcorney on this Friday night January 19th commencing at 8.30pm. This table quiz is in aid of Cancer Connect, an organization who provides transport to people for Cancer services in our Cork Hospitals. Your support would be very much appreciated for this worthy cause.
