Christmas Greetings from St. Joseph’s Community Hospital, Millstreet

On behalf of our residents and dedicated staff, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude for the extraordinary volunteers who contribute in such a huge way throughout the year.

Your generous spirit, compassion and tireless efforts go far beyond simple tasks.

They embody the true meaning of care, creating moments of community connection, that truly brighten the days for the residents.

The warmth you bring helps create a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere throughout the hospital.

There are too many to name individually but please know that that your presence makes a meaningful difference, and we are truly thankful for your continued support and dedication.

2025 has been a wonderful year in St Joseph’s Community Hospital.

We moved into the new extension comprising of 11 single ensuite bedrooms as well as a spacious Day room and Dining room.

The wide corridors and high ceilings offer so much space and light which has greatly enhanced the quality of life for our residents.

Enclosed safe outdoor spaces facilitate time spent close to nature, enjoying fresh air and daylight.

We look forward to the completion of renovations to the old building allowing us to grow in numbers providing both long stay and short stay beds for the Community.

Warm Regards……

 Maureen, Staff and Residents.
