It is not at all surprising how very popular the most recent issue of the highly regarded Journal “Seanchas Dúthalla” (Volume 16) which was published by the Duhallow Historical Society just before Christmas 2016 is proving to be. The excellent publication is on sale at “Wordsworth” as well as a number of other local outlets. Among the many superb contributors who share magnificent articles are: Patrick O’Sullivan, Kanturk; Diarmuid Kiely, Cullen;  Maurice Linehan of Millstreet; Charles Louis McCarthy, Boherbue; Eilín Ní Chadhla, Sráid a’ Mhuilinn; Fr. Seán Tucker, Ballydaly;  Patricia O’Keeffe, Newmarket – to mention but some of the many gifted writers. We recommend purchase (while still available) of this marvellous Journal which in a short time will become a much sought after Collector’s Item as have previous issues of “Seanchas Dúthalla”. (S.R.)
