Preparations are almost complete for “The Old Woman who lived in the Shoe” – The Marian Players 33rd Annual Panto, in The Community Centre, Rathmore.  Adding to the fabulous acts we have all enjoyed down the years, we have many new young faces giving added life and zest to the whole production. The schedule of performances is available on local advertising and media, and is also on the booking office phone number as above.  Every day from Tuesday Jan 28th onward, the booking office across from Rathmore Church, will be open between 2.00 pm and 6.00 pm. Also, during these hours, one may also phone in to reserve seats for collection later.

Bookings, as usual, are taken for individual seats. So an early call is advised so one can be assured of their preferred seats. Details: 085 2031730.

€23,000 Raised from Rapunzel

Marian Players Rathmore 2019 32nd Annual Panto – Rapunzel. Our Panto Treasurer Eilish Coakley presented Hugh Ryan, Chairman of Kerry Parents & Friends Association with €23,000 proceeds from this year’s Panto.
A huge thanks to the audiences and everyone who assisted in preparing this year’s Show especially the Committee of Rathmore Community Centre for their support & accommodation since the of start of rehearsals. Thanks to David Twomey, Leo Fitzgerald Music Row Studio,Shane Dennehy, Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra, Rathmore Social Action Group, the Media, Jerry Healy, Tony Sheehan, Christy Dennehy, the Management of the many Schools in the Parish and the spouses, partners and families of the participants in the group and anyone else who may have helped in any way. A sincere thank you to all. If we accidently omitted anyone, please accept our apologies.

Millstreet takes the lead as Marian Players return for Rathmore panto –  … The cast includes many familiar faces in addition to new talent from Rathmore, Gneeveguilla, Barraduff, Glenflesk, Millstreet, Ballydaly, Cullen, Rathcoole, Derinagree and Knocknagree. Millstreet’s Jayme Linehan plays the lead role. (the Corkman)

Rathmore Panto – Rapunzel

Its panto time again for panto in The Rathmore Community Centre. Rehearsals for Rapunsel are now in full swing and it’s shaping up like it’s going to be one of the best to date.The show runs on selected dates between Saturday Jan 26th and Sunday February 3rd. Full details are available by phoning 0851351810, and, at the same number, between 2pm and 6pm any day you can book tickets for your preferred show.
The booking office will then be open for the collection of tickets each day from Thursday 17th onwards also between 2pm and 6pm. Book early for the best seats, especially for children.

Marian Players Prepare for Spectacular Panto 30 in Rathmore

“Sleeping Beauty” is this year’s superb production by Rathmore’s Marian Players. This is the 30th year of the hugely popular annual praiseworthy event which has been a phenomenal fundraiser over the past generation. Here we share images from last week’s dress rehearsal in advance of the launching of the excellent Pantomime at Rathmore’s Community Centre.
