Tim O’Sullivan is Grand Marshal Supreme in Staten Island, New York, USA

Timothy O’Sullivan, born in Lyreaoune in the parish of Millstreet, Co.Cork and now living in New Jersey, USA was recently honored as the Grand Marshal of the 2024 Richmond County St. Patrick’s Parade in Staten Island, NY.  He was selected because he was part of the original Parade Committee in 1965, and for his many years of leadership in Irish events on Staten Island.
At the Richmond County AOH Hibernian Ball, held on February 17, 2024, Tim was sashed as Grand Marshal.  His family and friends were there for the celebration. Tim led the 60th parade down Forest Avenue on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024. Congratulations to Tim!

Mark Ellis Features in Historic New York Team Victory

Prestigious Grand Marshal 2019 Role in New York for Neil O’Sullivan Who Has Cullen Connections

Neil is nephew of the late Con O’Sullivan of Lyreaoune, Cullen and his truly important role in this year’s New York and Staten Island St. Patrick’s Day Parades is highly prestigious.
His father, Tim O’Sullivan (Corney) came from Lyreaoune, Cullen, and his mother, Katherine Murphy’s  people came from Knocknashinnagh , Cullen.   And, in addition, both father and son shared the same very special honour.   We extend sincere congratulations on such a tremendous honour.

Remembering the late Pat Lacey of Yonkers, New York & Millstreet

The death occurred recently of Pat Lacey, Yonkers, New York and formerly of 21 Murphy’s Tce, Millstreet.  He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mairéad nee O’Sullivan, Lisnaboy, Cullen, his sons Billy, Timmy & Kenny, daughters-in-law, Allison, Christine & Sarah & doted grand children, his sister Kathleen, the O’Sullivan family, kind neighbours and friends.

There will be a Month’s Mind Mass in the Church of the Nativity, Cullen on Monday March 6th  @ 7.30pm.
