Tom Carroll accepts the €2,000.00 cheque from Marie Twomey. Patricia Carroll won this Jackpot in the Local Lottery just one week after her husband, Tom, had shared in the substantial win with Nigel.
At Monday’s performance of the splendid Rathmore Pantomime 2024 – there was a magnificent surprise Celebratory Cake to the applause of the large audience including Bishop Ray – for Martin, Lisa and Oran.

Millstreet Pictorial Update – 19th May 2023

Patrick W. O’Leary of Louisville, Kentucky whose family generously supported the fundraising of Millstreet Children’s Playground meets with Committee Members of Millstreet Town Park during his recent visit to Millstreet. Patrick’s paternal ancestors came from Adrivale, Millstreet.
John Healy recently very kindly presented a superb publication on the History of Eurovision to Millstreet Museum.

A magnificent presentation by Paul, Nora and Marie at Millstreet’s Polytunnel last week on the theme of sustainability.

Patrick presents two splendid books to Gillian at Millstreet Library. He is acquainted with the Fields Family in Connecticut, USA whose daughter Lisa is Illustrator supreme of the two publications.

A very Happy Birthday to the wonderfully popular Nora Kelleher of Minor Row, Millstreet who on 4th July 2022 was 90 years young.

Remembering Catherine’s Visits to Millstreet

Our latest Millstreet Pictorial Updates places focus on the beauty of Autumn locally and internationally.   We include a feature from today’s “Sunday Business Post” which makes a very important reference to Scoil Mhuire, Millstreet BNS.   And we hope that someone might be able to share information about the late Mr. John J. Campion about whom Bill Browne has written in this week’s “Corkman” indicating that John was born in Millstreet.   And we recall yesterday’s Beatification of the young Carlo Acutis in Assisi, Italy yesterday (Sat. 10/10/2020) who died at the age of 15 in 2006. Millstreet Pictorial Updates – 9th October 2020

We share a selection of images reflecting recent updates in the Millstreet area.   Yesterday we featured a package delivered to Millstreet Museum.   Before we could reveal its content we had to make the local Gardaí aware of its content and to seek permission to share images of the historic item.   We can now reveal what we received from a very kind anonymous Donor who sent the following note:
