Bluegrass Music Magic at Millstreet Library 2016

“Mile Twelve” Bluegrass Group from Boston presented an hour long magical music experience in the world of the hugely popular Bluegrass music genre on Thursday, 5th May as part of Bealtaine Festival 2016. A million thanks to Breda at Millstreet Library for according us all such a marvellous privilege hearing this splendid Band and to John Nyham for organising the Irish Tour of these wonderfully talented Musicians.                 Come and Make an art piece for the library wall with local Artist Amanda Wright based on the theme‘Under The sea’ starring the Book

Next Wednesday’s workshop – July 8th – will take place from 4-5pm.

On Saturday, 27th Sept. 2014 Michelle O'Keeffe presented splendid certificates to the many young people who participated in the 2014 Millstreet Library Summer Reading Challenge.  Librarian, Breda had a special Book Token for Claire Lyons having won this award.   Then followed a Sweet Treat Party in celebration.  The enjoyable event was held under the auspices of the Cork Co.
