A sum of money within a Bank of Ireland small plastic bag and with the name “Nicola” also included on a paper note – was found at Main Street, Millstreet on Saturday, 21st June at Millstreet Busking Festival. Enquiries: 087 949 5830 …. UPDATE: The kind finder of the money has been contacted by the grateful person who lost the money and who will soon collect it.
Saturday, 21st June 2025 – the longest day of the year – marks the greatly anticipated Busking Festival in Millstreet. Tremendous has been the preparations that this great event requires. Sincere congratulations to the superbly dedicated, hard working Team of Volunteers. Every success on this splendid musical event – which so reminds us all of the unforgettable excitement some 32 years ago of Eurovision Week 1993 when some 25 windows throughout Millstreet were beautifully decorated by “Visual Image” representing the 25 countries participating in the 1993 Eurovision Song Contest. Now in 2025 we view some of the very impressive approximately ten musical window displays as well as the colourful bunting feature. More window photos later. Tap on the images to enlarge. (S.R.)
