There is an article on Los Zarcos FC & its history in the Cork City FC Programme for Tuesday Night’s game against Longford Town, which took place on 11th August 2020 at 19.45 in Turners Cross, Cork.
Best of Luck to Seán Óg Murphy who will be playing with Cork City in Tblisi, Georgia, this coming weekend, the first EAFF (European Amputee Football Federation) Champions League. City qualified after winning the Irish League last year, and will be up against home side AFC Tbilisi (Georgia) and Dinamo Altai (Russia) in the Group stage.
Well done to Seán Óg Murphy, Cullen (pictured in the middle below), who captained Cork City F.C. in their first match against Bohemians in the newly established League of Ireland for Amputees, last Saturday in Midleton. A huge achievement for an exceptional local man! Lots more photos and videos below:

The name of Los Zarcos given to them by Brian Sullivan of Millstreet Town’s Mal Paso Pub
Back in the very early eighties they were formed as a Football Club
Some of the players who played for Zarcos then the grandfathers of today
And some deceased and some from Millstreet living far away.
Some of their sons in the colours of Los Zarcos nowadays line out to play
They win some games and lose some games that’s life as some might say
In The Mal Paso Pub they drink to celebrate a win or ease the pain of a loss as their dads did in days gone by
On looking back the decades how time does seem to fly.
