Ansgar Kuhn from Cologne, Germany – Eurovision Enthusiast Supreme – travelled from Dublin by train Saturday (2nd Jan. 2016) afternoon to visit the venue of the Eurovision Song Contest 1993 at Green Glens. He was especially thrilled to meet with Noel C. Duggan and Maureen Duggan. Special thanks to Gena for arranging the meeting at the Duggan Family Home in Millstreet. Here we note Ansgar pictured at Green Glens. He was just two years old when Eurovision 1993 took place in Millstreet! In the brief two-hour visit Ansgar also got to visit Millstreet Museum and Drishane. Ansgar has visited many of the Eurovision venues all over Europe. He rates Millstreet as especially unique. We now share a selection of pictures from Ansgar’s arrival by train at Millstreet Railway Station followed by his brief but very comprehensive tour of the Eurovision Venue, Millstreet Town and the Eurovision Wall at Minor Row, Drishane Estate and Millstreet Museum. Ansgar who is involved in Media Management in Germany especially praised the fact that some 23 years since the amazing event we have still preserved many reminders of the historic occasion.
