Shane Seeks “Hill 16” All-Ireland Ticket

Shane Browne has made contact with us requesting  that he would appreciate it very much if anyone may have a “Hill 16” ticket to sell for the All-Ireland Hurling Final in Croke Park on Sunday, 3rd Sept. 2017 at which his favourite Waterford Team will be playing.  Apparently Shane has never missed these All-Ireland final games in over 25 years!  Shane may be contacted on 086 167 2153. We meet some of the many wonderfully loyal Cork Supporters whose focus will be on the exciting hurling game with Cork v. Kate Mary & Grandson Podge Collins Feature on Prestigious Match Programme 2017

We thank Marie Casey, Cloghoula for very kindly sending us this superb image which recently appeared in the official Match Programme in Thurles at the recent Cork v. Clare Match. Podge Collins is of course the truly superb G.A.A. Sportsman from Co. Clare and Kate Mary Cremin of Cullen is his Grandmother. Sincere congratulations to both on such highly prestigious national coverage. Cork support was very much in evidence today with the many red and white flags. Even the flowers appeared to be in full Cork blossom. Millstreet Pipe Band prepared to leave for Killarney as the official Band to lead the parade of the Cork and Kerry teams. The final result of the match: Cork 1goal 6points to Kerry's 1goal 11points. Presentation N.S. Shows Magnificent Support for Millstreet Junior Football Team in Advance of Saturday’s Historic County Final in Cork

The Millstreet Junior Football Team Management along with players Mark Ellis and Kevin Crowley visited our school on Tuesday as Duhallow Junior A Football Champions for 2014. Great excitement and cheer awaited the team in anticipation for the County Championship final on Saturday (25th) at 6:15pm in Paric Ui Rinn, Cork. Best of luck Millstreet!
