The time is getting closer to the Blackwater Valley Vintage Group Summer Evening Car Run for BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service which is taking place on Saturday Evening June 14th, Declan Ryan is heading this Event and Declan and all the Blackwater Valley Vintage Group Team welcome you to Cullen Vommunity Centre Eircode (P51 YY06) where Sign on will be from 4.30pm with Take off at 6pm,there will be Refreshments available at the Start with a nice starters Prize and some great Spot Prizes to be Won as well and at the Finish in O’Riadas Bar and Restaurant in Ballymacelligot there will be Free Food and Live Music to finish the Evening off.
To give an idea why we are running the Event for such a worthy Cause we take a brief look below at the work Bumbleance do and the service they provide and what this means to Families that use this great Facility.

Blackwater Valley Vintage Group are hosting 5 Vintage Events for the coming year ahead with the first Event of the Year for the Group kicking off on Sunday March 30th with a Vintage Tractor Run for Pre-1995 Models.
Registration for the Event will be based out of Aubane Community Centre Eircode P51 EP49 with Sign On from 10.30am and Take Off at 12.30pm Refreshments will be Served at Registration, Entry Fee by Donation,for more Details Call Jack Sheehan on 083-3736016.
The Groups second Event of the Year is happening on Easter Monday April 21st with The Group running a Vintage /Classic Car Run for the Irish Kidney Association.
All Vintage/Classic Cars Bikes Vans etc very Welcome to take part, Registration will take place at Cullen Community Centre Eircode (P51 YY06) from 10.30am with Take Off at 12 Noon, a Scenic Route of over 80km is on offer with the Event finishing at Bob’s on the Green Kanturk for Refreshments and Musical Entertainment,

The Millstreet Vintage Club Summer Car Run which is taking place on this coming Saturday Evening June 17th over in Cullen,the General Public are very Welcome to come along to Cullen Community Centre and have a look at some Cool Vehicles that are promised to be on display.
Preparations are well advanced for the Run which will be in Aid of Bumbleance Childrens Ambulance Service and it will be an opportunity for People to see the Bumbleance Ambulance as well which will be on display at the start of the Event over in Cullen Community Centre,the Event is open to All Vintage/Classic Cars Bikes Vans Trucks etc, the Run will Start Out in Cullen Community Centre(Eircode P51 YY06) with Sign On from 4.30pm and Take Off at 6pm Sharp,the Cullen Pipe Band will lead the Run away from the start in Cullen and it will take in a Scenic Route with views of Mushera Mountain,Clara Mountain,The Paps,Mangerton and Carrantuohill especially if the Weather will be good,the second part of the Run will on a clear Evening give the possibility of seeing up into as far as Limerick and Clare so a very Scenic Route is promised,the Run will End up at O’Riadas Bar Ballymacelligot just outside Castleisland where there will be Free Food and Music Supplied by the very Popular Bernie Heaney along with Barry O Halloran and Sheila Heery, also on the Evening there will be a Draw with some nice Prizes to be Won,Entry for the Run will be by Donation and its all for a great Cause in Bumbleance Childrens Ambulance Service,for Details Contact Willie Fitzgerald on 087 2229874,Ita Fitzgerald on 087 9865217 or Bernard Crowley on 087 7924406.

We’re presently preparing a full feature on the special Mass and wonderful Reception for Hannah Kelleher who after fourteen years of dedication is retiring from Cullen N.S. where she has been Principal since 2004. Where in Ireland can you be entertained under the one roof by performers fresh from competing in the World Piping Championships in Glasgow, the All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil in Drogheda and the All Ireland Community Games Choir in the University of Limerick?
It’s all happening in Cullen Community Centre this week Friday night Culture night 21st Sep. 2018 8.00p.m. and it’s free admission.
There will be World Class performances from Cullen Pipe Band plus All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil, All Ireland Scór and All Ireland Community Games Choir winners. Performers hail from Cullen GAA Scór, Kanturk GAA Scór, Millstreet GAA Scór all ó Barony Duhallow, Millstreet Comhaltas, Freemount Comhaltas Crossfields Ceilí band, Boherbue All Ireland Ceilí Dancers, Newmarket among others including the very talented Casadh Ó Thuaidh group and Cullen Music Group. Arrive early at 7.30p.m. to try out the Pipes and Drums. See you there.
Scoil Laitairain is a 3 week Irish Course which will take place on Monday July 2nd until Friday July 20th 2018 in Cullen Community Centre, Co. Cork. Our course runs from 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday. We’ve been asked to alert those who may have forgotten to collect clothes left after the recent Summer Camp in Cullen that a special opening has been arranged for this Thursday, 23rd July 2015 of Cullen Community Centre from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. so as to give an opportunity to collect forgotten clothes. Sheila and Michael Wall and their families, want to sincerely thank the organising committee of the Monster Quiz held in Cullen Community Hall on Easter Monday in aid of The Jamie Wall Trust Fund.
