Conor Moynihan’s Magnificent Win at 100th Anniversary Prestigious Swimming Event

Conor Moynihan won both the Wetsuit Mile and the River Mile Major Swimming Events this weekend at Sundays River Nelson Mandela Bay in South Africa.    The highly prestigious event  celebrated its 100th Anniversary this weekend.   Some 237 men participated in the Swimming Race. How very proud Conor’s Grandparents – Margaret and Michael Moynihan, “Snugboro”, Killarney Road, Millstreet must be of Conor’s truly magnificent sporting achievement.   We thank his equally proud Dad – Niall Moynihan – for sharing this wonderfully uplifting news and also the attached superb selection of splendid images recalling the historic occasion this January 2024 weekend.   Millstreet salutes an Outstanding Champion – Sincere congratulations, Conor.  Tap on the pictures to enlarge.  (S.R.)

Swimmer Supreme Conor Moynihan to Participate in Prestigious Championships

“Swimming – Congratulations to Conor Moyinhan, Connor Barnardo and Bryce Minderon on their selection to represent Eastern Cape Aquatics (ECA) at the South African National Open Water Swimming Championships, which will take place at Marina Martinique from 19-21 March 2021. The National Championships take place over three days, during which will see open water swimmers, from all over South Africa compete on a provincial basis in events over various distances.”
