Christmas 2015 at Cloghoula N.S.

Christmas 2015 at Cloghoula N.S. included the celebration of Mass by Canon John Fitzgerald, P.P.. Principal Mary Murphy then introduced a superb Nativity Play beautifully performed by the children followed by a wonderfully witty and enjoyable production of "Cinderella". Prestigious “Best Community Awareness Project” Award for Cloghoula N.S.

Sincere congratulations to the Senior Pupils of Cloghoula N.S. and to their Teacher, Ms. Joanne Murphy on having won the "Best Community Awareness Project" Award in the recent "Discover Cork Schools Heritage Project 2015".  They were presented with the wonderfully prestigious Award fpr their marvellously impressive Project by Cllr. Kieran McCarthy on Friday, 13th March 2015 in the Silversprings Hotel, Cork. It was indeed an honour to have been associated with the very interesting Project in the research stage of the overall uplifting endevour.   Pictured at Clogho
