Dromtariffe Vintage Club Charity Vintage and Classic Car Run in aid of Dromagh School Parents Association happening on Sunday October 20th

Dromtariffe Vintage Club will be holding a Charity Vintage and Classic Car Run in aid of Dromagh School Parents’ Assocation on Sunday 20th October 2024.

Registration by Donation from 10am at Dromtariffe G.A.A. Complex, P51 YY26, with the Run departing at 12pm.

All Vintage/Classic Cars very Welcome.

 

 

 

Great Turnout for the First Millstreet Vintage Club Gathering in 18 Months

It may have been a Touch Wet and Miserable in Millstreet last Saturday Evening but any thoughts of this Dampening Proceedings for the Millstreet Vintage Club WELCOME BACK Run were quickly evaporated with an outstanding Turnout of almost 60 Cars lining out for what was to be the Clubs first Event in nearly 18 Months,it was great to catch up with some old Friends and also to welcome some new ones as well,Donie Lucey laid on a great Route of 40 Scenic Miles which despite the weather was a lovely Spin that included a stop in Ballinagree for Chips and Chat before heading on to Rylane,Nadd, Lyre and back into Millstreet for the finish, Donie wishes to thank all the help he got for Registration,Marshalling along the Route, Arrowing Management etc and also would like to thank An Garda Siochana for there help,also a big thanks to Connie Dennehy looking after us for Food in Ballinagree and to the Photographers and Media for covering the Proceedings,below is a selection of Cars that made the Trip to Millstreet on Saturday Evening last and once again we thank you all for the Support and we look forward to meeting you all again very soon.

2nd Johnny Hickey Memorial Spring Car Run on Sunday March 8th

The Annual Johnny Hickey Memorial Spring Car Run organised by Millstreet Vintage Club will take place on Sunday March 8th next,Johnny was a founding Member and former Chairman of Millstreet Vintage Club and was a highly Respected Person both in the Club and beyond so its a pleasure for Millstreet Vintage Club to be holding the 2nd Johnny Hickey Run,a Nice Scenic Route has been laid on with Sign on at the Wallis Arms Hotel from 10.30 am and take off at 12 Noon,the Millstreet Pipe Band will lead off the Run from the Square in Millstreet and this will be very appropriate as Johnny was a very active and Enthusiastic Member of the Pipe Band,all Vintage/Classic Cars,Bikes,Vehicles very Welcome to join the Run,the Johnny Hickey Memorial Cup will also be up for grabs for Best Car on the day,for more details Call Bernard on 087 7924406, or Willie on 087 2229874.

Great turnout yesterday for the Millstreet Vintage Club Coffee Morning

There was a great turnout yesterday in Millstreet for the Millstreet Vintage Club Coffee Morning with over 60 Vintage and Classic Cars in attendance at the Event.
The Club and Chairman Donie Lucey would like to thank everyone that attended and for there support and generosity.
Special thanks to Paul O’Connell and Family for bringing along his Red Bull Car,Paul gave the General Public a deep insight into the working of his stunning Car and many people both young and old got the chance to sit into the cockpit and get a feel for what its like to be on board such a unique Piece of Kit.

Thanks also to Billy and all in the Wallis Arms Hotel for there help and support.
