All Ireland Scór victory for Millstreet
Millstreet added to their run of success at the All Ireland Senior Scór Final in Castlebar on capturing the club’s 4th outright success.
At the outset, twelve teams from four provinces competed in search of national honours in a preliminary round, three progressing to the decider where Millstreet’s team of Jerry Doody, Con Healy, Pat Sheehan and John Tarrant held off the best intentions of Bornacoola (Leitrim) and Churchill (Kerry).
Cullen native Ríona Ní Loingsigh from Longford compered the proceedings as Bean An Tí, the attendance included GAA President Jarlath Burns. Sincere Congratulations to Jerry, Pat, Con and John. (S.R.)
