Blackwater Valley Vintage Group will make a Presentation to the BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service with the Proceeds from our
recent Car Run at the Boeing Car Park by the Blackwater just outside Millstreet on next Wednesday Evening July 16th at 8.00pm, Everybody very Welcome to Attend.

Sr. Aidan (Rita) Fitzgerald (Infant Jesus Sisters), Nazareth House & Kilbrittain

The death has occurred of Sr. Aidan (Rita) Fitzgerald, Nazareth House, Dromahane, Co. Cork / Kilbrittain, Co. Cork.

Sr. Aidan (Rita) Fitzgerald (Infant Jesus Sisters), Nazareth House, Dromahane, Mallow and formerly of Kilbrittain.

Sr. Aidan died very peacefully in the tender and loving care of the staff at Nazareth House, Mallow on Sunday, July 13th, 2025.

Deeply regretted by her sisters Mary O’Leary and the late Chrissie, Joan and brother Willie, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, the Infant Jesus Sisters, Mallow, her community in Penang, Malaysia where she spent 58 years and where she is much loved and appreciated by her numerous past pupils and friends.

Lying in repose O’Keeffe’s Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Mallow (P51 XE2T) on Monday afternoon from 4:30 to 5:30pm, followed by Prayers.

Reception into St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet on Tuesday morning for Requiem Mass at 11am, prior to burial in Drishane Cemetery, Millstreet.

The family would like to thank the management, nurses and staff of Nazareth House Nursing Home for their care shown to Sr. Aidan during her time in the home.
