Millstreet Connection with Cork City Marathon 2025

Paddy Leader, Glenleigh, Rathcoole

The death has occurred of Paddy Leader, Glenleigh, Rathcoole, Co. Cork.

On June 1st 2025, peacefully in the presence of his family in his 90th year at Araglen House Nursing Home.  Predeceased by his parents Bill and Nora, sister Nellie and brother Leo.

Paddy will be sadly missed by his daughters Noreen McSwiney, Christine O’Donoghue, Patricia Bradley, Mary Doyle and Muriel Cronin and their mother Margaret, brother Denis, sisters in law, sons in law Bertie, Denis, Michael, Seán and Alan, his 12 grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Tarrant’s Funeral Home, West End, Millstreet, P51XF86 from 5pm to 7pm on Monday 2nd June followed by removal to St Nicholas’ Church Kilcorney P51FW65. Requiem Mass on Tuesday 3rd at 11.30 am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery,  Millstreet.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Leader and Dr Ralph and to the staff of Araglen House Boherbue for the exceptional care shown to Paddy over the past few weeks.
