The death has occurred of Thomas Corkery, Derreen, Millstreet, Co. Cork.

Corkery, Thomas, Derreen, Millstreet, Co. Cork. On October 02nd peacefully in the care of University Hospital Tralee, predeceased by his parents John & Catherine, sisters Catherine, Ellen, Margaret, Betty & Sr. Nora. Deeply regretted by his sister Mary O’Connor, brother Bernard, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours & friends.

Reposing in Tarrant’s funeral home Millstreet on Friday 04th from 6:30 to 8.00pm. Reception to St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet on Saturday 05th for Requiem Mass at 11am  followed by burial in Drishane Cemetery.

Millstreet Meals on Wheels Service

The Millstreet Meals on Wheels service is available for the elderly & isolated in the Millstreet catchment area. All food is prepared in Millstreet Day Centre & we operate the service 5 days a week. You can order a hot dinner for as many days as you like, delivered to your door from Mon-Fri for just €6 a day for the main meal & €2 for dessert.

 A variety of meals are served throughout the week and the staff will endeavour to facilitate individual tastes when preparing meals. Coeliac dinners & desserts available also. Please see our menu for next week below.

Millstreet Vintage Club Model Show is on Sunday 6th October 2024 in K&L Deliveries Mountleader Warehouse, Millstreet P51 X683 proceeds going to Millstreet Tidy Towns.
Doors open @ 10:30am to 5:30pm.
Always a great day out for the family to view Model Cars, Tractors, Trucks, Farm Displays, Lego and much more.
Entry fee: Adults €10
Children FREE
All u12s must be accompanied.

Kevin Wins Fossa Golf Society Prestigious President’s Prize
