John MacSweeney, Rathcoole

The death has occurred of John MacSweeney, Rathcoole,  Co. Cork.

On November 9th 2022 unexpectedly at his residence (former teacher at Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra, Rathmore). Beloved son of the late Jeremiah and Kitty and brother-in-law of the late Gerald. Sadly missed by his loving brothers Laurence and Tony, his sister Sheila (Healy), his sister-in-law Eileen, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Tarrant’s Funeral Home, Millstreet on Tuesday, 15th November, from 6.30pm followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 1pm. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet

Join us in Millstreet Library Tuesday 15th November at 2 – 3 pm to explore ways to make positive changes for you & the environment.  James O’Donovan is an engineer & environmental educator who runs climate & biodiversity workshops in CEF’s outreach & educational programmes.

In this workshop he will be exploring enablers & barriers to make change & what you can do now that will be good for you & also for the environment.
