Presentation of Awards at Millstreet Pitch & Putt Club

On Thursday, 25th August 2022 a very impressive Awards Ceremony took place at Millstreet Pitch & Putt Club course in Millstreet Town Park.  Many splendid awards were presented while one of the main Awards – the Aidan Burke Memorial Trophy – was won by Oran Kiely, Station Road, Millstreet.   Liam, Gillian and Saoirse Rose representing the Burke Family presented a delighted Oran with the magnificent Trophy.   Denis Kiely (Oran’s father) expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Burke Family and indicated that he had great memories of the late Aidan.  Gillian responded and expressed her sincere thanks that Aidan is remembered annually at this special event.   The Burke Family provided lots of delicious refreshments for all present…and Joan Casey distributed superb home baking.   Shane Browne had arranged the acquiring of the splendid Award Trophies.  Barry Fraser addressed all present expressing thanks to the Committee, the Players and the Parents and indicated how successful the past year had been with lots of new Players.   Here we share some 19 images from the marvellous occasion.   Sincere congratulations to All.   Tap on the images to enlarge.  (S.R.)
