1000km Fundraising Walk For Breakthrough Cancer Research

Please support this Macroom lady Geraldine Lynch (granddaugther if the late Pete Paul and Joan O’Connor, Minor Row and Dronsicane) walking from ANTRIM TO ALLIHIES..1000kms,  raising funds for Break Through Cancer Research arriving in Ballyhea on Thursday then back in her own County and heading to Churchtown, Liscarrol. Lismire, Newmarket and reaching Millstreet on Saturday. Then heads off to west Cork to complete her 1000 km journey from Antrim to Aillhies. A great achievement.

Sliabh Luachra Cycling Club

Yesterday evening we officially launched our appeal of support from all of you, as 17 of our adult members will embark on a 600km cycle from Mizen head to Malin head in aid of the Irish Community Air Ambulance
On August 11th over 4 days. Our juvenile members joined us at the Air ambulance base airfield in Rathcoole, they didn’t get to see the Helicopter as it was out on a call in South Kerry. This is an unbelievable service that functions solely on the generosity of the public, that is greatly appreciated by everyone especially the family and friends of the individual’s that have benefitted from its service.
