Update from Millstreet Christmas Lights Committee
Despite great efforts unfortunately the Elves are experiencing some difficulty with the Christmas lights in the Square including our beautiful Christmas Tree. Storm Barra hasn’t helped matters but hopefully it will be resolved soon.

This year has been a roller-coaster of various emotions for former BBC TV Current Affairs presenter Denis Tuohy.
In May he lost his son Chris to cancer and has now just seen his book published, based on his ‘Thoughts for Today’ slot on BBC Radio.
This week on ‘Where the road takes me’, Denis, who resided in Castletownbere for a number of years, joins John Greene to reflect on a number of events that made it to his book ‘Streets & Secret Places’
