The death has occurred of Tommy Ducey, Rathcoole, Co. Cork

Ducey (Rathcoole) On September 29th 2021, peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of Araglen House Nursing Home, Boherbue, Tommy, (The Railway Gate), beloved husband of Mary (née O’Sullivan) and dear father of Eileen, Martina, Christie, Patsy, Tomas, Gerard, Noel, Anne and Caroline and brother of Anne and Pat. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, family, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephew, niece, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at McCarthy’s Funeral Home, Banteer on Friday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Reception into St Fursey’s Church, Banteer on Saturday at 12:45pm for Funeral Mass at 1:00pm which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/banteer(under new government guidelines the capacity of the church is limited to 50%). Burial afterwards in St Fursey’s Cemetery.

Jane Murphy (formerly of Carrigacooleen), Church Street, Millstreet

The death has occurred of Jane Murphy (formerly of Carrigacooleen, Millstreet), Church Street, Millstreet, Co. Cork.

The death occurred on September 29th 2021 of Jane in the Mercy University Hospital. Survived by her sister Eileen (England), sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Joan, Jack, Bill, Mike and Gerry.

In accordance with current government guidelines, Jane’s funeral Mass will take place on Friday, 1st October, in St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet at 11am followed by burial to St. Mary’s Cemetery.
