Great Turnout for the First Millstreet Vintage Club Gathering in 18 Months

It may have been a Touch Wet and Miserable in Millstreet last Saturday Evening but any thoughts of this Dampening Proceedings for the Millstreet Vintage Club WELCOME BACK Run were quickly evaporated with an outstanding Turnout of almost 60 Cars lining out for what was to be the Clubs first Event in nearly 18 Months,it was great to catch up with some old Friends and also to welcome some new ones as well,Donie Lucey laid on a great Route of 40 Scenic Miles which despite the weather was a lovely Spin that included a stop in Ballinagree for Chips and Chat before heading on to Rylane,Nadd, Lyre and back into Millstreet for the finish, Donie wishes to thank all the help he got for Registration,Marshalling along the Route, Arrowing Management etc and also would like to thank An Garda Siochana for there help,also a big thanks to Connie Dennehy looking after us for Food in Ballinagree and to the Photographers and Media for covering the Proceedings,below is a selection of Cars that made the Trip to Millstreet on Saturday Evening last and once again we thank you all for the Support and we look forward to meeting you all again very soon.

The death has occurred of Helena Fitzgerald (née McMenamin), 46 Carrick Strand, Strabane, Co. Tyrone / Millstreet, Co. Cork

The death has taken place September 19th 2021 at her home of Helena Fitzgerald (née McMenamin) 46 Carrick Strand, Strabane.  Beloved wife of Anthony, much loved mother of Milo and Rogan, dearly loved daughter of the late John and Josephine McMenamin and devoted sister of Rose-Marie and Shauna.

Funeral leaving her home on Tuesday (September 21st) at 1.25p.m. for Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strabane at 2p.m. Interment afterwards in Strabane Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her heartbroken husband, sons, sisters and family circle.  

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Donations in lieu of flowers please to the Foyle Hospice.

Mary-May Fenton From Kilcorney ( Duhallow pony club member) rode as a substitute rider for team Wexford in the under 10s Mounted Games national Championship at Millstreet arena Saturday and Sunday taking 1st place 🥇on her pony Taffy 💙

Two Duhallow Club riders Hazel and Mary-May were on the Wexford winning team 💙
